Sue Faulks is an artist, illustrator and tutor based in Leicestershire, with over 30 years experience as a professional artist, and over 15 years as a teacher.
She graduated from Leicester Polytechnic in 1987 with a 1st class degree in Graphic Design, specialising in illustration.
Through her work, Sue is interested in capturing light and atmosphere, and the essence of the world and people around her.
She is available for commissions providing an additional framing service.
Sue offers bespoke tuition, either working from her home studio in Birstall, or in the wider community – for organisations such as schools and art societies.
Over the years her pupils have enjoyed learning, both for pleasure and to enhance their academic attainment. They have won competitions, exhibited at galleries, achieved excellent grades for their GCSEs and A Levels, and gained entry into undergraduate and graduate courses.
